    Salmon Pink

These flowers, a lovely shade of salmon pink, were taken during a home and garden show during the winter. It’s always a pick-me-up to see spring colors, even if only part of an indoor display.

    Butterfly Surprise

What appears to be a Gulf Fritillary Butterfly frolics among the lantana in Hawaii at The Umauma Falls. While I’m no entomologist, I identified the butterfly by the three dot pattern. At first I thought it was a monarch, but how would a monarch butterfly get to Hawaii?

  • Butt

    Butt

There is nothing really special about this picture. Sure, it’s a picture of the butt of an elephant. Okay, not a real elephant, it’s a decorative elephant. At times, though, my twelve year old brain takes over and says, “A picture of a butt might be funny.”

  • Lava Carving

    Lava Carving

On a trip to Big Island, Hawaii, we went to Volcano National Park. While there we went through the Thurston Lava Tube. It’s basically a tunnel created by lava flow. It’s pretty cool, but I noticed most people just looked along the walls and kept walking. The cool view was checking out the destruction of…

  • Death Begins a Journey

    Death Begins a Journey

In many older churches you will find skull with wings. You may also see a lot of tattoos depicting the same thing. Generally the skull with the wings symbolizes that when you die your journey isn’t over. Sure, maybe your body is dead, but your soul still has places to go. Hopefully you won’t die…
