There are times when our dog, Milo, who is not a puppy even though I call him that, just likes to stare out into space. I sometimes wonder what he is pondering.
Back in 1998 I was lucky enough to see Tom Jones in a smaller venue, The Vic Theatre in Chicago, IL.
I always enjoyed those shows with the mix of older fans and their youngin’s with them.
When we lived in a house we would put pumpkins out for Halloween. We never decorated them, but kind of used them to get in the spirit of Autumn.
The decorating, however, ended up being taken care of by one of our local squirrels. We were always amazed at her, or his, handiwork!
As fall is coming to an end, most of the leaves are quickly disappearing. Here’s one last look at spectacular colors before the cold of winter makes its way to the northern states.

Back in my younger days there were trips to the Jersey Shore, Long Beach Island as it would be.
While there were many places to have a good time, there wasn’t much better than catching Jackie Vee and Paul Presto entertaining the bar crowd at Crane’s Surf City Hotel.
One of the highlights? Jackie Vee’s ability to play multiple saxophones at the same time.

Whereas Memorial Day is to honor those who died while defending our nation, Veterans Day is here to thank all of those who served.
Now you know the difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day.
A few years ago, at the International Balloon Festival in Albuquerque, New Mexico, there was trouble brewing in the skies!
In the end both Yoda and Darth decided to just float along on their merry wind current.

John Fogerty is one of those artists who you don’t always remember his songs until the opening rift. Then you sing your ass off. He also rocks in concert.

The autumn colors, especially the golds and yellows, have been spectacular this year. The sun shining through the trees add a nice touch!
