I was generally a boring food person, at least until I met my wife. One of our first dates she took me to a trio of sushi, Thai, and French cuisine. Since then I’ve been hooked on good, and what some might call, “weird,” food.
One of the best places for “weird” food is Alinea, the super-duper rated restaurant in Chicago, and I have been lucky enough to have gone and enjoyed the creations of Grant Achatz.
This plate of goodness was from years ago, 2014 to be exact. Most of it just looks like blobs of goo, but it is some super-tasty blobs of goo, filled with color!
