Most folks probably remember Steve Perry as only being the front person for Journey back in the day.
This image, however, if from his solo days, when he was touring in support of his album “For the Love of Strange Medicine.” My favorite song from that album is “Somewhere There’s Hope,” but most people at that show were there for his solo hit, “Oh Sherrie,” as well as his covering old, Journey classics.
Don’t matter what he was singing, though, because he rocked!
